Matt has been leading worship at Lomax for 4 years and now finally gets paid. He joined the Lomax staff in the summer of 2006. He was concerned of what he might be getting himself into, but it’s been a smooth ride so far. He has just recently fell in love with his new guitar (The Taylor) and has just recently married his "1st" love Tonya on December 18, 2007. He enjoys many hours of sleep, out driving Pastor Jeff, sports and the Gaither Homecoming. He is a songwriter and has advanced to the National Fine Arts competition in 2003, 2005, and 2006. He is currently pursuing his credentials with the A/G through Global University and praying to finish in the next decade. He is finally working on becoming the featured act at a Third Day concert.
My wife Amber and I have been married since December 07’ and survived growing up in EPIC youth ministries where we now serve as the full time youth pastors. While I dream of the next big youth event and practice for the PGA Pro tour, Amber works as a Master cosmetologist at The Masters Touch by day and a sumo wrestler by night. Youth is our heartbeat and encouraging them to reach their full potential is our goal. We believe that every person is uniquely created by God to impact this world through the Holy Spirit in a positive way. We love nothing more than to see youth dream big dreams and watch them fulfill them. With the personalities and imagination that God has given us, one can only imagine where God will take EPIC youth ministries from here.
