Donna and I have been the Senior Pastor’s of Lomax since January 1, 2000. Since that time we have enjoyed the awesomeness of being in God’s perfect will in God’s perfect timing. We cherish the relationships and the memories that God has allowed us to create with all of the wonderful people of Lomax. It is so awesome to pastor people who are so loving, passionate and crazy (some crazier than others). It is such a joy to pastor a body who has been liberated from sin, and religion, and who are in pursuit of God’s  awesome presence.

My favorite hobby, when I’m not praying, preaching or pulling souls out of the fiery pits of Hell, is golf. I enjoy playing golf with my sons, my preacher buddies and my staff.  Together, with the people of Lomax, we are going to build an incredible, anointed, passionate soul winning church that will exalt the name of Jesus as we pursue excellence for His Excellency! My wife Amber and I have been married since December 07’ and survived growing up in EPIC Student Ministries where we now serve as the full time youth pastors. While I dream of the next big youth event and practice for the PGA Pro tour, Amber is the proud owner of Elite Hair Salon by day and a sumo wrestler by night. Youth is our heartbeat and encouraging them to reach their full potential is our goal. We believe that every person is uniquely created by God to impact this world through the Holy Spirit in a positive way. We love nothing more than to see youth dream big dreams and watch them fulfill them. With the personalities and imagination that God has given us, one can only imagine where God will take EPIC Student Ministries from here.

Matt has been leading worship at Lomax for 5 years. He joined the Lomax staff in the summer of 2006 and was concerned of what he might be getting himself into, but he claims it’s been a smooth ride so far. Matt is not only passionate about music, but also the opportunity to lead people in Worship. He enjoys writing music and has just recently put out his first EP entitled, "Greater Is He." When he's not playing music you can find him out driving Pastor Jeff on a golf course, watching as many football games as possible, or spending time with his amazing wife Tonya!
